During Link Analysis, products may contain multiple attributes that generate excessive or unnecessary relationship lines between nodes. This can make the analysis difficult to interpret and reduce the clarity of the investigation.
Link Analysis Configuration allows users to control which product attributes are displayed during a Link Analysis Product Search. By selecting only relevant attributes for analysis, users can reduce unnecessary relationship lines between nodes and make the Link Analysis view cleaner, more focused, and easier to understand.
This configuration does not remove or ignore product data. It only controls which attributes are considered when displaying relationship connections in the Link Analysis view.
Case-level configuration applies only to the selected case and helps users focus on relationships relevant to that investigation.
For example, if a product contains 20 attributes but only 5 are important for analysis, the remaining attributes can be moved to the Unselected section to reduce clutter in the Link Analysis graph.

Access Details
- Admin – Can manage Link Analysis Configuration across the organization.
- Team Admin – Can manage Link Analysis Configuration for assigned teams.
- User – Can configure Link Analysis at the user and case level for their own analysis requirements.
- Read-Only Collaborator – Can view Link Analysis results based on shared collaboration access but cannot modify organization-level configurations.

Configuring Case-Level Link Analysis
Case-level configuration applies only to the selected case and does not affect other cases within the organization.
Steps to Configure Link Analysis at the Case Level
- Perform a Product Search and open the results in the Link Analysis View.
Alternatively, relaunch an existing case in the Link Analysis View. - Click Link Analysis Configuration.
- This redirects to the Link Analysis Configuration page.
- Select the required Vendor.
- Select the Product currently used in the case search.
- After selecting the Vendor and Product, the page displays:
- Selected Product Attributes for Organizational-Level Link Analysis
- Unselected Product Attributes for Organizational-Level Link Analysis
- Select the attributes that are not required for Link Analysis by:
- Clicking the checkbox beside each attribute, or
- Searching for attributes using the search option.
- Click the Red Arrow pointing toward the Unselected Product Attributes for Organizational-Level Link Analysis section.
- The selected attributes are moved to the Unselected Product Attributes section.
- Click Save to save the configuration changes.
- To add attributes back to the link analysis, select the attributes from the Unselected Product Attributes for Case-Level Link Analysis section that should be included in Case-Level Link Analysis. You can select attributes by:
- Clicking the checkbox next to each attribute, or
- Using the search box to locate specific attributes.
- Click the Green Arrow pointing toward the Selected Product Attributes for Organizational-Level Link Analysis section.
- Click Save to save the updated Link Analysis Configuration.
