OWL demonstrates a strong commitment to security through its comprehensive implementation of advanced security policies. A key component of this framework is multifactor authentication (MFA), which can be configured at multiple levels within the platform—ensuring layered protection against unauthorized access and reinforcing the organization’s overall security posture.
- OWL’s configurable MFA settings—available at the Organization, Department, Role-License, and User levels—reflect its dedication to protecting both user identities and sensitive organizational data.
- The platform supports first-level and secondary-level MFA, offering administrators the flexibility to tailor authentication policies based on specific roles or user requirements.
- These settings are accessible through the Administrator module, allowing for seamless integration with role-based licensing and compliance protocols.
By combining flexibility, granular control, and scalability with user-friendly design and compliance monitoring, OWL empowers organizations to:
- Align with industry best practices and regulatory standards
- Strengthen cybersecurity defences
- Enhance operational resilience across the enterprise
The Security Policy page within the admin module offers a centralized interface for managing all user security configurations. Administrators can view and control settings across various hierarchy levels, ensuring that policies are correctly applied based on each user's role and department.
Configurable Security Levels: Security policies can be defined and managed at four distinct levels:
- User Level
- Role Level
- Department Level
- Organization Level
Access Permissions:
- Administrators, Administrator-Users, and Super Administrators have full access to all security configurations across every level.
- Administrator-Team Users and Supervisor Users have full access limited to their own departments, including department-specific roles and users. They cannot view or modify settings across other departments or organizations.
Steps to Access Security Settings:
- Navigate to the Administrator page.
- From the OWL admin sidebar menu, click on Security.
- This opens the Security Policy page.
- The page displays all configurable security settings in one page. By default, the organization level setting will be visible.
- Other level settings can be viewed by expand the collapsed containers respectively.
