Overview

This release introduces new capabilities focused on Case Management, Subject Management, Data Export, Email Intake Automation, and Whooster Integration, along with several platform enhancements and stability improvements.

New Features

Configurable Chip Data in Case Dossier

Administrators can now configure template fields to be displayed as Chip Data within the Case Dossier view. This allows organizations to highlight important case information directly on the dossier screen, improving visibility and reducing time spent navigating through record details.

OWL Bulk Export Module

A new Export and Bulk Export capability has been introduced to enable authorized users to securely export records from the OWL platform for reporting, compliance, auditing, analytics, collaboration, and archival purposes. Users can export either individual records or multiple records in bulk using predefined templates for consistent output.

Email Intake Integration

OWL now supports Email Intake Processing, enabling emails received through a configured mailbox to be automatically routed to designated users for review. Authorized users can review incoming emails and attachments, approve or reject submissions, and associate approved emails with the appropriate Case or Subject record. Attached email intakes are accessible directly from the dossier view.

Enhancements

Subject Dossier Modernization

The Subject Dossier has been redesigned to align with the Case Dossier experience, providing a consistent user interface and improved navigation across records.

Launch Data Visualization from Multiple Areas

Users can now directly launch the Data Visualization view from:

User Administration Improvements

Administrators can now filter users by License Type, making user administration and license management more efficient.

Whooster Enhancements

Improved Error Messages

Users will now receive detailed data-source-level error messages such as:

  • Vendor Error

This provides better visibility into data provider issues and simplifies troubleshooting.

National Instant Criminal Comprehensive Integration

API enhancements have been completed to support the National Instant Criminal Comprehensive search product. User interface updates will follow in a future release.

Improved Private Profile Handling

Platform-specific private profile fields have been standardized to a unified isProfilePrivate attribute, and sub-searches are automatically disabled for private profiles.
