My Profile & Settings

Steps to access My Profile Page: 

  1. Log in to OWL using your credentials. Upon successful login, you’ll be directed to the OWL Dashboard. 
  2. From the Dashboard page, go to the top right corner of the page and click on your name. 
  3. You will see a menu open with options. 
  4. Click on the very first option name – My Profile.

  1. User Info: The first section in your profile is User Info, which displays your personal details such as username, email, phone number, mobile number, preferred language, and time zone. 

  1. My Activities
    • My Activities page in user details shows all the data query searches performed by you in your account.
    • The activity details mainly show the basic details of the search. Those details are as follows:
      • Created Date: The date when the search is initiated.
      • Product Name: The products you have selected during a search.
      • Search Criteria: This is the search variable/ keyword you have searched.
      • Case Number: The Case Number you have entered before searching or the associated case number.
      • Source: This defines from which platform you have searched.
    • Under the My Activities logs, the search criteria and the case number fields are highlighted in blue. If you mouse over it will behave like a link.
    • Clicking on the link will launch the case or all the searches associated with the case on the result screen.
    • You can use filters and pagination to search for a specific search activity from the activity page.
    • You can filter by case number and the created date range to search for activity.
  2. Dataset & Compliance: This page lists the available marketplace vendors accessible to you, in addition to OWL. 
    • If you are on the Whooster Edition, you will see the Whooster vendor under Marketplace.
      • Under the My Activity logs, the search criteria and the case number fields are highlighted in blue. If you mouse over it will behave like a link.
      • Clicking on the link will launch the case or all the searches associated with the case on the result screen.
      • You can use filters and pagination to search for a specific search activity from the activity page.
      • You can filter by case number and the created date range to search for activity.
      • Under the marketplace, you have both API Key details and the Rate Plan container.
      • By clicking on the API Key Details, you can view the API key in encrypted format. Click on Show Details will show the complete API key that connects OWL with the whooster vendor data source.
      • Click on the Rate Plan container to view all the whooster products search rates as per the whooster subscription rate plan.
  3. Department/Team: This section shows all the departments or teams you are currently part of, along with your primary department. 

  1. Security Policy: Here, you can view your current Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) settings and access the option to change your password. 

Change password: 

• To change the password, provide your Current password in the new password field. 

• Enter the new password in the New Password field. 

• Confirm the password by entering confirm password again. 

• Use the password meter to define the strength of your new password. 

• Enter security answer for validation. 

• Click on Submit. 

  1. Settings: 
  • This page displays your current default language and time zone. You can update these settings as needed: 
  • Changing the language will reload the application and relaunch it with all supported fields and labels in the elected language. 
  • Updating the time zone will adjust how your records, audit logs, and emails are processed and displayed.
  1. Notifications: The Notifications tab shows all alerts and messages configured for you by the administrators. 

 

Read-Only Access: If your license only includes read-only access to the platform, all of the profile pages mentioned above are read-only and cannot be edited directly. 

 

Updating Profile Image
To change your profile picture:

• Click the Edit icon on your current profile image. 

• An Upload Profile Image pop-up will appear. 

• Select a new image from your local device and upload it. 

• If an image is already uploaded and you wish to remove it, click the Delete button.

Dark Mode: 

1. Log in to OWL using your credentials. Upon successful login, you’ll be directed to the OWL Dashboard. 

2. From the Dashboard page, go to the top right corner of the page and click on your name. 

3. You will see a menu open with options. 

4. Click on the 2nd option name – Dark Mode. If Dark Mode is selected, it would show Light Mode.
