Audit Logs play a crucial role within the OWL platform by providing a comprehensive record of activities and events that occur within the system. These logs are essential for ensuring transparency, accountability, and security across organizational operations. In summary, audit logs in the OWL platform play a vital role in maintaining operational integrity, safeguarding sensitive information, supporting regulatory compliance, and enhancing overall cybersecurity posture. By capturing and documenting critical activities and events, audit logs provide administrators with actionable insights, enabling them to effectively monitor, manage, and secure organizational data and systems.
Steps to Access Audit Logs:
Click Administration.
Click Data Administration from the OWL Admin menu.
Click Audit Logs.
This will open the Audit Logs page.
Here, you can track all user activity and actions across the organization.
The Audit Logs page displays Log Date, Log Message, Username, and Module columns.
This page can be filtered by clicking Filters right top corner of the table.
Username: The username dropdown will show the organization user’s name. Select any user and click Apply Filter to view the audit logs of a specific user. The dropdown users may change based on the role and license of the logged in user.
Created From/Created To: Applying this filter to all the data will filter the audit logs based on the specific user and the date range applied.
Module: This will filter audit logs by module. The display will only contain authentication audit logs if the Authentication module is selected.
Click Reset Filter to clear all filters applied.
